On the second day of Group A of the 2026 World Cup, Mexico will face South Korea on Thursday, June 18, at Akron Stadium, home of Chivas de Guadalajara, for the first and only time in this city. After debuting at Azteca Stadium, El Tri will return there to close out the group stage.

Fun fact: This will be Mexico's 11th home game in a World Cup, but the first in Guadalajara. Previously, they played seven times in Mexico City, twice in Monterrey, and once in Puebla.
