Plaza de Armas
It is the picturesque square that characterizes the Historic Center of Guadalajara. Located to the left side of the Metropolitan Cathedral from where it shines a spectacular perspective of the Metropolitan Sanctuary, the oldest parish of the city. The Plaza de Armas is one of the oldest in Guadalajara, built in the late nineteenth century, for many years was the meeting place of the society until the early twentieth century when the city began to expand and the historic center was acquiring more recreational areas.
