Bosque de la Primavera

The La Primavera forest is a large forest area located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Its location is located west of the city of Guadalajara, sharing land between the municipalities of Zapopan, Tala and Tlajomulco de Zúñiga becoming the "lung" of the metropolitan area of ​​Guadalajara and its surroundings. Since 1934, it has had several declarations as a protected forest area, both federal and state, such as the one granted in 1980 by President José López Portillo as a forest protection area and refuge for wildlife.
