MARIACHI VARGAS DE TECALITLAN

Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán is an iconic Mexican folk music orchestra, founded in 1897 by maestro Gaspar Vargas López in the town of Tecalitlán, Jalisco. Over the course of more than a century, it has become one of the most renowned mariachis worldwide. Today, it is under the artistic production and general direction of maestro Rubén Fuentes, with musical direction led by Carlos Martínez. With its unmistakable style and talent, Mariachi Vargas remains a reference in traditional Mexican music, taking its legacy to international stages and keeping the essence of ranchera and popular Mexican music alive.
